I contacted Bill to move my two horses and my two dogs in my trailer from Houston, Texas to Halifax, Nova Scotia. I cannot express how great of a job he did.

I was very nervous for the horses to make such a long trip, especially when I had one that did not eat or drink well when away from home. But he knew how to put me at ease. He called me everyday (sometimes more than once) to give me updates on how all my guys were doing and where they were on the road. When they arrived in Halifax 5 days later, everyone looked fantastic.

Bill is a professional. There was a lot of paper work involved with customs in getting the animals as well as the trailer across the border. He handled it all with ease. His service was prompt, honest, and straightforward. He knows what he is doing.

I can not thank Bill enough for a job so well done. When we are moved back to Houston in a few years, I will be calling him once again for his service.

Dear Bill,

I wanted to thank you so much for asking Jed to bring Jenny back to N.C. That was so thoughtful of you.

I was so surprised when he called me on Monday morning. I figured that you would not let just anyone transport your horses so he must be okay. He picked her up on Monday night and so far everything is going great! I call Jed everyday to see how things are going. He is so nice and seems to really care about Jenny. Although I have not seen his trailer, Laurie, my friend that met Jed at the barn on Monday said that was the nicest trailer that she has ever seen.

As of right now they are about 21/2 hours out of New Orleans and expect to get to N.C. on Friday morning.

Thank you again for working with me and I hope I will get to meet you in person one day.

If I ever need Jenny to be moved again I will call you! I will also recommend you to my friends.

I recently sent a prized and loved morgan horse from California to Montreal, Canada.

On Thursday Nov. 1st I was driving south on highway I -75 near Ocala and saw one of your trucks. He was in the middle lane and getting ready to move right. The reason I noticed is because I have NEVER seen a professional hauler use such care to make sure his move was safe and slow. He was going maybe 60 (not 75!) and took plenty of time to move the rig gently over.

I was so impressed that I slowed back to get your name off the truck. When I got back to the side I saw the VERY HAPPY horses all nibbling hay and "chatting" on their ride. No tuned out zombies or panicked faces. My friends and I are always terrified to have a horse hauled it is usually a matter of who won't beat or cook them, but I'm very happy I have your name, now.

Being one who hates change, making the decision to switch to somebody I don't know and who isn't "as big" was not an easy one. But, I posted on COTH and UDBB and all I can say is WOW ... you have glowing reports, many from multi-time users.

I will be setting up my horse's return before April 15 I just wanted to be there to see him load - but my hubby wants to ride him a few
times before he comes home : )

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for hauling my horse from Lubbock, TX to Tomball, TX for me on August 8th. I am always nervous about other people hauling my animals, but it was just not possible for me to get up to Lubbock to get my mare. Skip was absolutely wonderful with her! I was not there when she was put on the trailer, but I was very worried about her loading since this would only be her 2nd time in a trailer, but my friend who met Skip at the barn of pick up said she followed Skip right into the trailer like she had done it 100 times. Skip was great the entire time, answered very time I called and kept me updated on their progress and how she was traveling.

When she arrived at my barn here in Tomball, she unloaded with ease and looked wonderful even after hauling 9 hours in the heat. You wouldn't even know she had just made a 9 hour drive in the middle of the summer, she looked so happy and calm.

Skip was great with her and extremely courteous and polite, as well as his wife and niece(who loved my little mare and my mare I think loved her just as much).

Thanks again and I have already reccommened you guys to some friends of mine and I am sure I will beusing your services again in the future.

I just wanted to drop you a line to sincerely thank you for your efficiant return of our mare, Pica, to her home, here in California. This "delivery" was, I feel, quite different from the majority of the trips you make with horses, in that you agreed to go way beyond the "call of duty" to collect her from a decidedly unsavoury character who was affectively holding her ransom.

You were prepared to confront the man who had my hore against my will, hand over the $2,000 cashier's check to secure her release and took her to the safety of your facility before setting out from Texas to deliver her to Northern California.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for the way you handled this situation; keeping me informed regularly as to the condition of my horse and later, numerous updates on the distance you were away, so as to time her arrival home.

I would highly recommend your company to anyone who needed to have a horse transported across the USA in the knowledge that the animal would be well-cared for by a man with a big heart!

Thank you for the quick response in helping getting my two year old filly to her new temporary home at Second Rescue. Although your young man seemed a little worn out from a roping engagement the night before, he arrived 25 minutes early. (we hadn't even given the tranquilizer shot yet - the vet said to wait and give it 15 minutes before your trailer was due to arrive)

He had to wait until it took effect (which unfortunately the shot did not help much) - he was patience and did not get all nervous when she freaked out rearing and throwing a fit...she was horrid and he took it in stride. Of course, the man who owns the property where I board had to help... it took about 20 minutes to get her loaded...could have been a lot worse.

Anyhow just wanted to say thanks for the quick scheduling and his being early/on time and especially his patience!

Bill,

I would recommend anyone, at any time, shipping a horse, to re-arrange whatever schedule they may have so that you can do it.  The time, attention and care you put into those horses while on the road with you is incredible. 

When bringing my three, not only did they look healthy, relaxed and groomed...so did the two others.  They settled right in here on the farm, showing no signs of any stress from the trip whatsoever.
Even having Chance go from California all the way to the east coast here in such a short time with you, he looked great, and it was his first time away from 'home'.

For boarding, I have never experienced anyone who looked at my horse as if it was his own.  The gentleness, wisdom, experience and sheer time you put into Bendecido for the time he was with you...I do not know how to say 'thank you' for that. 

You and Lita both went way beyond the call of duty with him, taking him from that abusive situation, and turning him into a calm, gentle horse willing to trust humans, again.  If my horses could not be at home with me, I would want them at your home.

Anyone needing to board should trust you to the absolute fullest, and feel confident that their horse was being looked after by the best there is.

I wanted to thank you for always using such good haulers! We just had a horse arrive at the trainer's hauled from Colorado, and the trainer was furious! The horse had had no food, no water, no bedding, (this was a 2 day trip) and they unloaded all of the horses on her property and tied them to fence posts without her permission for 2 hours while they cleaned out their trailer.

Bill, the mare you brought from a snow storm in Colorado to me in Florida over 2000 miles was in great shape. I appreciate the obvious care you gave her. A major snow storm messed up schedules for you but you kept me up with what was going on and delivered the mare within 5 minutes of when you said you would be at my place. Great job, I will never even consider anyone else to transport a horse of mine and I will recommend you to anyone I come in contact with that needs to move a horse.

Hi Bill

After much bad weather and road closures, JD made it into NC this afternoon. Needless to say after a long cross country haul for our 4 horses.. I expected the worst as far as horses conditions especially since our filly had never hauled anywhere let alone over 3600 miles!

I was amazed and grateful to see my horses unloading quietly and in good spirits and not a scratch on them! They were calm, and looked wonderful - like they had only gone around the block!
I must commend JD on his professionalism and the wonderful care he took of our horses. I will recommend you HIGHLY and if we ever have to haul anywhere ( not in this lifetime I hope:) I would request JD.

Todd delivered him this evening as promised, and of course right on time. He told us how this horse had logged some 4100 miles over the past week getting here. How he continuously checked on him, gave him double water buckets, alfalfa and grass hay, and unloaded as often as possible.

As you are aware, to be sure he was ok he spent last the last 24 hours at Todd's own place and watchful eye. This is nothing short of incredible. Sterling was as promised, just as we knew he would be.....well except for some glorious mud from a well deserved roll in Todd's roundpen this morning.

When I contracted you to transport Sterling here to Texas from North Carolina, I had no idea it would be after a hurricane, terroristic threats on the East Coast, and then the final crown....your pulling in with Sterling and having to help us catch our other gelding who decided to try and take the stroll to the highway.

Sammy and Brenda could not believe that you reacted so quickly to come to our aid. I am so pleased to tell you that he was what we were hoping for and you and your team were so instrumental in getting him here in such good shape.

The "Surprise" was very well received by Ed, and he too was most impressed with his condition upon arrival. It was hard to believe he had been on a trailer that long. I guess more of a testimony to you and yours is the fact that he so readily loaded to come the last trek after the stop at your facility and on to our barn. Had it been a really bad experience I doubt he would have done so.

Hi Doug,

They came this morning to pick up my horse! I thought they were coming Friday. At 7:30 am I got a call saying they were about 30 minutes from my house. I had planned to pack everything today and the farrier was coming at 9:00 for one last shoeing. It was hectic but I got everything done and they didn't have to wait too long.

Kevin and his partner were just great! They were so understanding and gentle with Patonga. Of course, I was crying my eyes out and they hugged and kissed me and said not to worry. They said I can call them any time, day or night to find out where they are. They expect to be in California Saturday night or Sunday morning. I can't believe they can get there so fast but I will let you know when the delivery is made.

I cannot believe that it is almost a year ago that Cody was shipped from Birmingham, Alabama to Honolulu, Hawaii.

If you recall, he was suppose to leave LAX on 9/11/01. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I know I thanked you over the phone several times for all the extra attention you gave to me and Cody during this time. You went way beyond what most horse shippers would have done. Bringing Cody back to your ranch for two weeks; then back to California only to find out the flight was canceled again; leaving him with a very good friend of yours in California and finally, he arrived on 10/12/01.

There was no way anyone could ever tell that this horse traveled across the country twice in one month.

Thank you so much for everything. I'll be getting back to you in a year or two for the return trip. Hopefully, it will go a little smoother.

The horses from Virginia arrived and I must give a wonderful RECOMMENDATION to the driver - Doug.

He was absolutely wonderful!!!

He had to back up his HUGE HUGE truck & trailer about 2 blocks (we had a snow storm and the parking lots weren't plowed); then we had to move horses on the trailer all around - and they were not the most well-behaved horses, either!

He never once lost his temper, was very quiet and knowledgeable, and I was so impressed!

I have never had a driver take such an interest in the welfare of the horses!

I told him he did a wonderful job but I wanted to let you know too how good he was!

Morning all,

I was just reading the problems that somebody has had with a shipping company.

I just recently had a horse shipped from Mississippi to New York.
The company used was Circle S Horse and I can't praise them enough.
The horses arrived in good shape and settled quickly so I can only assume that the shipping was stress-free.

When you think about the number of times that a horse is going to be loaded following any big movement like that, it's really important that they come away from it with good vibes.

If anybody ever needs a horse shipped my recommendations come highly with regards to this company.

We were worried about everyone when the original transport was caught in such horrible weather (they were caught in a wicked snow storm). Dear Bill,

I want to thank you and my driver, Tom Pryor, for the wonderful job you did transporting my two horses.

When I discovered that I was moving from Utah to North Carolina, I was pretty uneasy about the possible consequences of moving my horses and seriously considered selling them. But I made the decision to arrange the transportation with Circle S and have a driver move my truck and trailer with my horses from Oakley, Utah to Forest City, NC- a 2,100 mile trip.

Tom drove my rig, loaded with my beloved giant gelding, Casper, and my newly acquired little mare, Daisy. He was very professional and always ready to accomodate any request that I had. We stopped in Iowa and gave them a half hour for grazing and mental health while he cleaned the trailer. He checked on them every four hours and they arrived in perfect condition.

They did not experience any soreness, stiffness, or edima. They recovered beautifully and were in fine shape during our workouts the day after their arrival. (Horse hauling seems to be tough on the transporter and easier on the animals than I anticipated.)

I was amazed at Tom's knowledge of horses and felt very comfortable about my decision to move them after a few hours into the trip.

Thanks so much for arranging this, and I will definately call you again if we make another big move in the future.

I can't say enough about your *customer service*. I have been in contact with several other companies this past week and you stand out far and above them all. Most use automated emails and sign a name and have also had another that promised to reply or call and did neither - been two days.

I am very happy with Lisa's decision to try and work out a different shipping date with you. I know she was concerned about being gone 4 days during the holidays. This weanling of mine will be a lifelong companion to her and she would really like to be there for her arrival. I expect your company will make this desicion of hers even easier - it was a concern buying a horse so far away and this time of the year.

Just a note to thank you and the driver - Tom Pryor for delivering our horse in great shape. The drive from San Antonio, TX to New York must have been long for her but she showed no evidence of it.

I know when you drove up to pick up my horse and found two tearful females you must have thought you had your work cut out for you. Your patience with my horse and me was appreciated. Your thoughtfulness at calling after being on the road for 30-40 minutes just to let me know she was doing fine and then again when she got to your ranch, helped me more than you know.

I called several times to your driver, Tom, and each time was given a good update on how she was doing. He told me to call back any time. When she did get to New York he had to unload the two other horses on the trailer to get my horse out. He exercised those horses and watered them before he reloaded and left. Which just showed us how well he takes care of the horses he is transporting.

I have already told the feed store where I shop and my horse's Vet here in San Antonio about your excellent service and that I would highly recommend your services if anyone else needs to transport their horses.

Within an hour you secured good transportation. "Chino" a very handsome and well manored POA arrived ahead of schedule. He was taken well care of during his 1700+ mile trip. He walked off the truck sparkly eyed and full of pep - the guys did a great job. He loves his new home in Montana and his new big Brother "Dude" - a mellow handsome Paint. Hi Guys!

Well, he is here! What a positively LOVELY horse. He just quietly stepped off the trailer and I put him in the round pen for a few minutes so he could look around. He was totally unconcerned! I think he must have been born broke! Right now, he is out on a 2-acre paddock, walking up and down the fenceline, talking and grooming his new friends! He looks dashing w/ his designer flymask! I told James, my barn manager, to leave himout for about an hour and put him in his box stall under his very own 5'x5' fan! He will have the "Life of Riley!" Boy, what a sweetheart! I am so very grateful we could be instrumental in giving this fine animal a second chance.On Friday, he will get his new, custom-made shoes. I want him to rest until at least next week. Also, the vet will be out to check his teeth and clean his sheath next week, as well as to discuss medical management of any exacerbation of the head-shaking problem.

I can't give enough praise for Circle S Horse Transport! Riddler did not lose even one ounce, I am sure. In fact, Bill Saylor, the owner, personally sent quality hay for him because Bill was afraid he could not find the best hay on the road. Also, since Mr. Saylor lives w/in 30 minutes of my farm, he graciously offered to keep Riddler at his own place since he would be arriving about two in the morning and I would be at work. So that is exactly what he did. Thirdly, Mr. Saylor stopped for a four-hour layover yesterday just so Riddler could rest and so he could make sure the horse was adequately hydrated.

All-in-all, I could not be MORE PLEASED w/ the fine, attentive care our beautiful boy received during his long trip from the Circle S staff. Riddler does not have a mark on him! He was even clean (I can't say as much for my other three today!).I promise to send pictures soon! We already too a bunch!
